Join Geometry

지오메트리 결합

A node that gathers several geometry inputs into one output. It combines mesh pieces into one result but does not weld touching vertices.

Join Geometry is like a collection bin that gathers several parts on one workbench. In the Geometry Node Editor, press Shift+A ▸ Geometry ▸ Join Geometry and connect multiple Geometry outputs to its multi-input socket.

Create it with nodes.new('GeometryNodeJoinGeometry') and call links.new(...) several times on the same Geometry input. This example joins the input cube with a sphere made by another node. The result is one geometry output, but the mesh parts do not become one connected surface. Use bpy.data.node_groups and the node API because the combination is a saved procedural graph.

Joining does not align parts or weld vertices, and overlapping faces remain. Add a mesh operation such as Merge by Distance if touching vertices should be merged. Without Join, the group outputs only the last sphere branch. With Join Geometry, both the input cube and sphere reach the output.

When to use

Use it to gather several generated branches or output the source together with generated geometry. Add a weld operation after Join when connected topology is needed.
